With the exception of two essential elements, the railway company had all the basic elements already in place. The active management of commodity groups and a supplier management should be established or expanded.
INNOSourcing offered support in establishing these systems, whereby an essential component was to intensify interactions between the individual business areas (consumers, quality management, etc.), the procurement department and responsible parties. An appropriate tiering system was established in the field of supplier management. Additionally, the internal policy and some of the processes were reviewed and supplemented as required.
